SelectCoaching.in is a coaching institute discovery and comparison platform serving students and parents in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, India. References to "we", "us" or "our" refer to SelectCoaching.in and its operators.

2. What data we collect

We collect only data that you provide voluntarily:

• Enquiry forms: name, phone, class, exam, message — sent to the institute you are enquiring about
• Review forms: name, batch year, rating, review text
• Contact forms: name, phone, email, message
• Institute registration: institute name, owner name, city, phone, email

We also use browser localStorage (not cookies) to store your compare list and language preference. No personal data is stored in localStorage.

3. How we use your data

• To forward your enquiry to the institute you selected
• To publish your review alongside the relevant institute profile
• To respond to your message or contact request
• To review your registration application for listing

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling or marketing without your explicit consent.

4. Data sharing

We share your enquiry data only with the specific institute you are enquiring about. We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not share your data with advertisers.

5. Data retention

Enquiry and contact data is retained for up to 12 months and then deleted. Review data is retained for as long as the associated institute is listed. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Cookies

We use a cookie consent banner. If you accept, we may set minimal analytics cookies to understand how the site is used (page views, city distribution). If you decline, no cookies are set. You can change your preference by clearing localStorage for this site.

7. Your rights

This site is intended for students (including minors) and parents. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent. Enquiry forms for minors should be completed by a parent or guardian.
